Danfoss Grodzisk
As part of the campus expansion in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, a new factory was built, enabling the relocation of 45 production lines from Kolding, Denmark, and increasing the facility's production capacity. The building was designed to be highly automated and energy-efficient, without the use of fossil fuels.

Investor:
Panattoni BTS
Architecture:
TFK Poznań
General contractor:
Dekpol Budownictwo
Location:
Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Masovian Voivodeship
Total area:
13,000 m²
Scope of work:
environmental decision, conceptual design, building permit design, detailed design, author's supervision, amendment to the local spatial development plan

This is the first Danfoss factory designed specifically for operational CO₂ neutrality. Heating, cooling, ventilation, and production machinery are powered by electricity, with no natural gas or oil used during normal operations.
The project included:
operational CO₂ neutrality
energy recovery from production processes
heat pumps and high-efficiency heat recovery
preparing roofs for photovoltaic installation
A highly automated production facility was built, integrated with the existing Danfoss campus. The facility has also become a key example of implementing energy-saving and energy-recovery solutions within the company's global network.
"The greenest energy is the energy you don't use. That is the philosophy behind the design of this factory."
